BLAKE SHELTON: Brotherly Influence

Growing up, Blake Shelton fell in love with all kinds of music, and there\’s one main person to thank — his brother.  It turns out, he influenced Blake\’s musical taste without even trying. According to Blake, whoever his brother listened to is who Blake listened to because his brother played his music so loudly. (Us Weekly)

Good thing his brother had great taste.

THOMAS RHETT: Soaking Up Some Alone Time

Although Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren are thrilled to be welcoming two new babies into their family, they know how hectic their lives are guaranteed to become. Over the next couple months, the couple plans to take full advantage of their quiet time, while they still can.

Thomas looks forward to this time with his wife, saying, \”We want to get that last little bit of just me and her time. We’re just trying to soak it in and have as much fun, us two, as possible.\” (People)

Creepy Doll Could Be Spying On Your Child

Parents are being warned about a doll many girls have – My Friend Cayla!

That’s because hackers can use an unsecured bluetooth device that is embedded in the toy to listen and talk with your child as they are playing with the doll.

Advocates for child safety are encouraging parents to get rid of it right away.  Tech experts say hackers can eavesdrop on your child, and speak to them through the doll.

My Friend Cayla isn’t the only doll that came under scrutiny.  There were similar concerns with Hello Barbie two years ago.

Smart technology on kids toys aren’t the only concern for consumers.  Devices like Google Home and Amazon’s Echo are marketed to adults. These devices and hackers could be listening to your every word.

Here are things that we talk about on the air that weren’t Peep Oreo’s.

KELSEA BALLERINI: Tour Bus Hand-Me-Downs

Although Kelsea Ballerini is one of the most glamorous girls in country music, her first tour bus was as manly as they come. It turns out, the bus belonged to Jason Aldean before Kelsea got her hands on it.

With deer antlers over the lights and cowhide on the back of the couches, Kelsea says it was “such an absolute dude bus.” Thankfully, she’s in a much more girl-friendly bus nowadays. (Self)

Kelsea is out on the road with Thomas Rhett, opening for his Home Team tour.

JASON ALDEAN: Heading to a TV Near You?

Over the past few months, Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany have posted several hilarious carpool karaoke videos, and fans can’t seem to get enough. So, would the happy couple ever consider starring in a reality TV show?

The answer is “no.” During a recent video chat, Jason and Brittany turned down the possibility of ever doing a reality TV show, saying, “It would just be hard to have all the cameras around all the time. And they would catch us when we argue, which would be interesting.”

According to Jason, however, the arguments don’t happen often.

KIMBERLY SCHLAPMAN: Talks Daisy and Dolly

Back in January, Kimberly Schlapman shared the news that her family adopted a baby girl named Dolly Grace. While having a new baby in the house can be exciting, it can also be a bit overwhelming. According to Kimberly, however, her nine-year-old daughter, Daisy Pearl, couldn’t be more helpful with her baby sister.

Kimberly Schlapman:  “Daisy is in heaven. She’s a little mama. She prayed for this baby every night when she said her prayers, and she loves and adores her. She kisses her all the time. She’s very happy. It’s precious and beautiful, yeah.”

GPS Tracking Device For Teen Drivers – A Good Device For Parents?

It’s one of the hardest things for parents of teenagers to do – let them drive away in a car without you!

For years you have done your best to keep them safe and now you are handing them keys to a two-ton machine on wheels.

There is a way to check on young drivers.  A  GPS device that can send parents an email or text alert when a teenager leaves school and arrives at the soccer game — or leaves home and arrives in the mall when they’re supposed to be at a friend’s house.

According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, 2,715 teenagers ages 13-19 died in motor vehicle crashes in 2015. About 2 of every 3 teenagers killed in crashes in 2015 were males.

Seventy-nine percent of teenage crash deaths in 2015 were passenger vehicle occupants.

Not surprisingly, some teenagers have a less enthusiastic view on GPS tracking devices.  They feel it is an invasion of their privacy.  Some parents say they would feel bad spying on their children, and will not use a GPS device.

Is there a happy medium?
