Brad Pitt is speaking out for the first time about his divorce from Angelina Jolie and his troubles with alcohol abuse in a new interview with GQ.
The 53-year-old actor revealed that he is in therapy and has been sober for six months. He admits that his drinking had gotten out of control and it caused many of the problems in his marriage. He says, “I was boozing too much. It’s just become a problem. And I’m really happy it’s been half a year now, which is bittersweet, but I’ve got my feelings in my fingertips again.” He adds, “For me this period has really been about looking at my weaknesses and failures and owning my side of the street.”
Brad and Angelina have tried to keep their divorce and custody battle out of the tabloids. Pitt says, “I worry about it more for my kids, being subjected to it, and their friends getting ideas from it. And of course it’s not done with any kind of delicacy or insight—it’s done to sell. And so you know the most sensational sells, and that’s what they’ll be subjected to, and that pains me.” Pitt initially agreed to supervised weekly visits with their six kids, but he and Angelina are now working with a private judge to design a more firm custody agreement.
SIRI SAVES MEN FROM SINKING BOAT
The Siri feature on iPhones can answer many questions and do many things – but it recently took things to a whole new level by saving three fishermen from disaster out on the high seas.
The three fishermen were cruising off the coast of Florida when they were confronted by big waves. It didn’t take long for the 18-foot boat to start taking on water.
While battling the rough ocean, a crew member using a waterproof iPhone 7 used the “Hey Siri” feature to call 911. Luckily, the feature is activated by voice, as the fishermen were dealing with cold hands and fingers – and were having trouble dialing on the touch screen.
Not long after the call for help, a helicopter from the Coast Guard went out to search for the guys, found them and brought them back to safety.(NY Post)

ERIC CHURCH
Eric Church is the big 4-0 today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ERIC!!!!
JAKE OWEN
When Jake Owen needs to clear his head, there’s one place he always goes.
Jake Owen talks about being an outside guy. “Outside, I mean, no doubt. I’m an outside guy. If the sun’s out, you know, I like to be out there. And then even when the sun’s not out, I just… the outdoors, the feel of the breeze. I’m an outside guy.”
LUKE COMBS
Before Luke Combs found success in country music, he wanted a life of crime — in criminal justice, that is.
Luke Combs talks about wanting to be a detective. “I wanted to be a homicide detective, and I kinda realized way too late on in college that you have to be a cop for 10 years to do that. I just didn’t think that I was tough enough. So, that kind of closed itself off to me as an option, which was kinda frustrating. But I obviously understand it. You know, it makes a lot of sense to have that experience going into that.”

Stephen Colbert is getting some heat for a Trump joke some are calling “homophobic.”
During his monologue Monday, the comedian took the president to task for telling Face the Nation host John Dickerson his show was “fake media.” So Stephen jokingly said things Dickerson could not say. One of those things was, “You talk like a sign language gorilla that got hit in the head. In fact, the only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin’s [the c-word for male genitalia] holster.”
That joke got people on Twitter riled up and the hashtag #FireColbert began to trend.
Here’s what some people had to say:

Chris Soules bought alcohol and was drinking before his fatal crash in Iowa, prosecutors claim.
Though the former Bachelor left the scene of the accident, his lawyers have asked for the felony charge to be dropped. They argue that Chris did not break the law because he aided the victim and called 911. In response to the request for dismissal, prosecutors claim that Chris had empty and partially consumed alcohol containers in his truck. They also say he bought booze at a convenience store “shortly before” the crash.
It may still be difficult to prove Chris was drunk at the time of the crash, since he wasn’t arrested until hours later.
He was popped for a DUI more than 10 years ago. (TMZ)
OWNER OF 23-YEAR-OLD DOG ADMITS HIS PET IS SPOILED
The owner of one of England’s oldest dogs – a 23-year-old former shelter dog named Charlie – has spoken up and shared the secrets of Charlie’s longevity.
64-year-old owner Stuart Smith says the secret to his dog’s long life is being completely and utterly adored, calling Charlie a “spoiled lad.”
Stuart adopted Charlie from a shelter in 2010 when Charlie was “only” 16 years old.
Since then, he’s allowed Charlie to do whatever he wants. Charlie snoozes in his bed and enjoys tasty treats each day.
Despite being 112 dog years old, Charlie is – remarkably — still going strong. While he can’t run around like he used to, he still enjoys short walks in the fresh air.
He’s also surrounded by two other dogs at home – 12-year-olds Lucy and Zack – who like to keep him company.
Stuart says he feels privileged to have been able to offer Charlie a happy home in his later life – and says it’s all been well worth it because Charlie brings the family so much joy. (Express)
The parents featured in the “DaddyOFive” YouTube Channel are under investigation by Child Protective Services and the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office.

Mike and Heather Martin, of Ijamsville, are in the midst of a firestorm after they received wide spread backlash about their prank videos with their children.
The biological mother of two children in the videos, Rose Hall, came to Frederick last week from North Carolina and was granted an emergency custody order for Cody and Emma.
Rose said she first saw the videos last October and has been trying since then to get her children back. She calls the videos ‘disturbing and abusive’.
Rose and her lawyer, Tim Conlon, say her children are receiving therapy for the stress received from the prank videos.
The “DaddyOFive” channel has over 760,000 subscribers.

I had so much fun at Middletown High School today as they celebrated “Ag Day”. What a fun way to introduce elementary and fellow high school students to the FFA. Thank you Lexi and Justin for inviting WFRE to be part of your special day. I took lots of pictures….
