TIM MCGRAW / FAITH HILL
In a recent interview with Architectural Digest, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill shared a few tips about their lives, and revealed a few things we didn’t know about them in the process. For example, Tim wishes he never had to do dishes again.
Faith also ratted him out for missing the hamper with his dirty clothes! (Architectural Digest)
MAREN MORRIS
When it comes to style, Maren Morris has one rule: keep it comfortable.
Maren Morris talks about her style. “I’m really sort of about comfort at the end of the day. So, I like things that just feel good on. On stage, my style is very, like, comfortable, but also sorta amp it up a little. I’ll wear, like, leather pants, but also put a comfy boot on because I move around a lot, so I can’t wear eight-inch heels on stage.”
DRAKE WHITE
If you ever get the chance to dine at Drake White’s house, you’re guaranteed to leave with a full belly and a smile. Drake’s wife Alex owns a catering company and surprises her husband with new dishes all the time.
Drake White talks about his wife’s cooking. “She does some really great things with fresh grown vegetables around our house. You know, Brussel sprouts and lentils, spaghetti squash and all this stuff that’s just so innovative, and it’s so artistic that I like a lot of that stuff. I like eating stuff that might not be in your grocery store, but it’s growing outside.”
Thank you to the career firefighters that came out yesterday to support Team WFRE and the kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. They collected donations and did an amazing job! Thank you to the Frederick Shell for their generous donation and THANK YOU to everyone who came out to get your car washed or donated at the pumps. Team WFRE can’t thank you all enough!!!!!!
Having someone do your grocery shopping seems like a dream come true, especially for busy moms. But, is it a help or hassle?
There are many area food stores that offer online shopping with curbside pickup.
Giant Food, with their partner, Peapod, offer curbside delivery and online shopping.
Wegmans offers ordering on-line and picking up curbside. According to their website, it’s available at select stores. Place orders online by midnight for pickup the next day with a small fee.
Walmart is offering free grocery pick-up. You can order online with same-day pickup and they will even load your car.
It does seem like this type of shopping is hassle free but there could be complications. Some grocery store websites are poorly designed and searching for a specific item is not always easy.
Also, higher delivery charges may be added to your bill for the more popular delivery or pick-up slots, for example on a Friday or Saturday. Some delivery slots may be booked months in advance for major public holidays like Christmas or New Year.
Most people that I have talked to about online grocery shopping seem to love it! They just make sure to check their eggs. They are fragile and could crack during delivery.

MAREN MORRIS
Maren Morris has one of the most eclectic styles in country music, and there’s one person she models it after.
Maren Morris talks about her fashion muse. “I’ve always said my fashion muse has been Kate Hudson because she sort of goes throughout the decades fashion-wise, and just pulls everything off really effortlessly. She’s not boho. She’s not hippie. It’s just she always rocks whatever she’s wearing and looks very confident in it.”
KENNY CHESNEY
When Kenny Chesney isn’t out on tour, he’s almost always exploring a new part of the world.
Kenny Chesney loves being a tourist. “There’s a lot of places that I’m curious about. I love being a tourist. I went to Italy this past year, and I loved it because I love to eat. I grew up loving cheese, [laughs] tomatoes. All that’s in Italy, and I love it, but I love being a tourist when I can be.”
FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE
The boys of Florida Georgia Line loved dipping their toes into the world of acting in the video for “May We All.” Do they have any plans in the future to revive those roles and maybe make a film inspired by their mini-movie music video?
Florida Georgia Line would like to revive “May We All” video characters. Tyler Hubbard – “I think that could be really fun. I mean we’re definitely up for working with Tim again and who knows maybe that thing could turn into a movie, I think that’s a great idea. We’ve definitely be up for it so we’ll see what happens. I mean who knows.” Brian Kelley – “But I’m not cutting my hair for that part.”
I invented some crazy stuff when I was a kid! Wish I would have thought of this trike!
Some engineering students at Georgia Tech created a super charged child’s tricycle featuring a chainsaw motor.
It’s amazing to see how they took a children’s toy and turned it into a gas guzzling hot rod.

BRETT ELDREDGE
If you get the chance to go on a date with Brett Eldredge, your night could very well be out of the ordinary.
Brett Eldredge talks about new adventures. “I don’t wanna watch a movie that somebody’s already watched before. It’s like, ‘Oh, I love this movie.’ It’s like, ‘No, let’s watch one that you’ve never seen and I’ve never seen,’ and it’s something new, and we both get to experience it together. If you’ve never gone to the top of this mountain, seen this view in this town, well, I’m gonna show you it. I like to experience new things with people, and that’s what I try to do, if I’m ever going on a date, or whatever.”
JUSTIN MOORE
Summer is quickly approaching, and everyone is gearing up for their beach trips. But you won’t catch Justin Moore in the water. He says he’s spent way too much time watching Shark Week not to be a little freaked out about what might be lurking in the deep.
Justin Moore talks Shark Week. “I’m super intrigued by all that stuff. But that definitely causes me to go in about knee deep, and splash it on me, and then get right back out and grab a beer.”
MAREN MORRIS
Maren Morris’s mom owns a hair salon in her hometown of Arlington, Texas. So, she was Maren’s go-to hair stylist from the get-go. Now that Maren lives in Nashville, things have changed.
So, did she consult her mom when the time came to chop off her long locks?
Maren Morris talks about consulting with her mom before chopping off her hair. “I told her about it, but I think when I moved to Nashville, it was sort of this understanding that she wasn’t gonna be my hairdresser anymore. It was just like, ‘I’m sorry, mom. I’m gonna have to like find someone else.’ But now my hair takes 10 minutes, even if I want it to look good. It’s super low maintenance, which is nice.”
Spring time means the start of ball. Baseball. T-Ball. Little League. Pony League. Legion Ball. Softball. It’s always exciting to see our kids playing a sport and baseball was always my favorite. I stopped by to see my son last week (ok, actually my grandson Grayson) and Davey was at baseball practice. As I sat and watched Grayson playing, I thought it won’t be long until we’re watching him throw a ball from shortstop. Then it made me realize how lucky am I as a mom….this year will celebrate 25 years of baseball for my youngest son. He started when he was four and he just turned 29. I’ve seen him behind the plate, on the mound, in the outfield, at third, but home to him has always been short stop. We’ve seen him win championships, play in a college world series and even help coach his old high school team to a state title. I love that we still spend a few nights a week and our weekends at the ball fields. And to top it off….his dad is still coaching him. Baseball is our life and I’m ready to start season #25!!!!!
