Jimmy Kimmel Emotional Monologue About Newborn Son’s Scary Surgery After Birth

Last night, Jimmy Kimmel didn’t make many jokes during his monologue. His son, William John Kimmel, was born two weeks ago with a life-threatening heart defect.

Kimmel started with a warning (quote) “It’s a scary story. But before I get into it, I want you to know it has a happy ending.” Shortly after the birth, the baby’s flesh turned purple. A team of doctors diagnosed a faulty heart valve and a hole between two heart chambers.

One week ago, Billy Kimmel underwent three hours of successful open heart surgery. Kimmel tried to explain the drama through his tears. Kimmel expressed gratitude to the entire medical team, his TV family and actual family. Jimmy joked (quote) “My friends were there 100%. We even had atheists praying for us.”

As for the happy ending, Kimmel bragged that his son (quote) “peed on his mother today, while she was changing his diaper. He’s doing all the things that he’s supposed to do.

Catoctin High School is in the Top 50 Again for the Vans Contest!

For the second year in a row – Catoctin High School’s Art Department is among the top 50 schools in the country for the Custom Culture Vans Contest.

Custom Culture Vans says only five schools will be selected to move on to the finals to win a grand prize of $50-thousand for their local school’s art department.

Catoctin High School is asking for the public’s help and vote for them in the online contest.

Ryan Seacrest is the new co-host of Live!

After months of guessing who will fill Michael Strahan’s empty seat after a controversial exit of the show, about a year ago, Ripa made the announcement this morning.

Ripa has had many A-lists guest co-host apperances over the past year from Jimmy Kimmel, Anderson Cooper, Dwayne Wade, Neil Patrick Harris and more.

So more of Ryan Seacrest it is!! How will he have time for all of his jobs!?

It was a mash-up of all of the Princess of Pop’s biggest hits last night at the 12017 Radio Disney Music Awards.

Kelsey Ballerini, Jamie Lynn Spears, Hailee Steinfeld, and Sofia Carson took the stage to surprise Britney Spears and honor her with a musical medley.

Good News — What Do You Do With 17 FEET of Hair?

MOM AND SIX SONS DONATE 17 FEET OF HAIR TO KIDS IN NEED

Phoebe Kannisto is a busy mother of six boys between the ages of 5 and 10, including a set of twins as well as a set of triplets.

As if keeping the boys fed, clean, and clothed weren’t enough, she’s also been working with them as they’ve been growing out their hair to donate it to kids who’ve lost theirs because of cancer.

The big day finally arrived last week. Phoebe took the boys to a local hair salon for their haircuts. In total, the family got rid of 17 feet of hair and donated it to Children with Hair Loss.

Phoebe said the boys were happy to help and everyone was surprised by how each of them grew hair at different rates. But, they stuck together and waited until they all had reached the minimum length for donations.

Phoebe is proud that her sons want to help other children and they all have started making predictions on how long it will take them to grow their hair out to donate again. (Huffington Post)

We have seen it all over Facebook this past week.  The meme asking people to list 10 concerts.  One you have attended, and one you have not. Your Facebook friends are suppose to guess which concert is the lie.

Now security experts are warning you to think twice about posting that information.  They say hackers can use your information to gain valuable personal information.

 

Concerts are a common security question, along with the name of the street you grew up on and your first job.  This is the information that hackers can use to break into your online ID.

Authorities advise you to always think twice about posting anything ‘personal’ on social media that could help hackers get into your wallet.

When it comes to pre-show routines, Luke Combs likes to keep his as simple as possible. 

Luke Combs: “I kinda just try to relax a little bit, you know. Probably have a dip, and then we always say a prayer right before we walk up the ramp. But there is no real special, like, thing that I have to do. It’s really just as long as we get that prayer in, you know, that’s really kind of it.”

DIERKS BENTLEY: Fierce Fang Fingers

It’s no secret that Dierks Bentley is a huge fan of Nashville’s hockey team, the Predators. He celebrated with his buddy Luke Bryan last week when the team beat the Chicago Blackhawks, moving them to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Tonight, the Predators face the St. Louis Blues, and Dierks is lucky to have a night off. There’s no doubt he plans to spend it watching his boys on the ice.

Dierks Bentley:“You know, Nashville is just on fire right now. And I think what’s so cool about the Predators is it’s a young team. The energy in that building is just this youthful exuberance, excitement, you know? Just with every game they win, the hockey just grows more and more exciting in this town.
