Blog Post 4: Prioritize, Prioritize, Prioritize!

Hey guys! This has been a busy week with a lot of wedding planning in the mix. Today, we meet with M.Stein Tuxedos to talk about what tuxedo or suit Tim and the groomsmen will be wearing…we can’t wait to go over all the options and find the right one for us!! I will share all of those details in my next post 🙂

Today, I want to talk about advice from others. This week I realized how fast a year goes, especially when you’re planning a wedding! Luckily I have my amazing Knot Wedding Planner Book to keep me on track with the month by month check-list. It definitely helps! I have also found that taking advice from people who are married is the BEST advice you can get. Below are a few ideas from my family, friends, and co-workers who shared with me some of the most important things they wish they had done or ideas that made their day perfection.

Check them out, I hope if you’re planning a wedding, too, you will find these helpful! I have been keeping them close to remember what is and isn’t important when planning.

-Get organized early.

-Don’t get caught up in perfection.

-Prioritize and make a list of what is most important to have on your special day. (Do this first!)

-Accept that you can’t please everyone. It’s all about you and your husband anyways!

-Hire a day of coordinator so you can enjoy your day and take in all the little things that you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

-Money saving tip: Use bridesmaid bouquets for additional flowers at the reception or centerpieces

If you have any other’s that you’d like to share, please send them to me at [email protected]. I would love to share them with everyone!

P.S. We got engagement pictures last night at the most beautiful Sunflower Garden in Westminster. Here is a selfie we took! It was such a fun evening!!

Britney Spears Movie Coming Out on Lifetime

Britney Spears has sold the rights to her story.

Next month, Lifetime network will start production on a Britney biopic. It will feature all the blemishes of her tumultuous career. From two failed marriages, her start on the Mickey Mouse Club, to her drug abuse that probably led to a psychotic meltdown and dating Justin Timberlake.

How will Lifetime pack all that drama into just two hours? The movie is simply called Britney Jean.

This week is shaping up to be a Britney blitz: The movie, Carpool Karaoke tonight (Thursday), her album Glory drops tomorrow (Friday) and on Sunday she performs at the MTV VMAs for the first time in a decade. (The Hollywood Reporter) (Premiere Prep)

Are You Ready For KFC Scented Sunscreen?

Wanna look like the Extra Crispy Colonel?  Wanna smell like fresh KFC? You, my friend, have missed your chance.  People who wanted to look like actor George Hamilton who plays the new Extra Crispy Colonel in the latest round of KFC commercials, and wanted smell like their favorite order of KFC have gobbled up 3,000 promotional bottles of KFC’s EXtra Crispy Sunscreen.  The website ExtraCrispySunscreen.com  is now out of the limited edition sunscreen.  Although it smells awesome, it is not edible and the website warns people not to eat it.
