Would You Buy These?

Looks like ‘dirty’ denim is the new black!

Nordstrom is selling denim jeans made to look ‘dirty’ for over $400.

Apparently these jeans are selling!

Nordstrom describes them as a heavily distressed medium-blue denim jeans in a comfortable straight-leg fit embody rugged, Americana workwear that’s seen some hard-working action with a crackled, caked-on muddy coating that shows you’re not afraid to get down and dirty.

My mommy OCD is kicking into over-drive. If my son brought these jeans into the house, I would bleach them!

JON PARDI

If you’re lucky enough to get a little one-on-one time with Jon Pardi, don’t expect your date to be too over the top. The California country boy likes to keep things simple.

So, what does Jon’s ideal date night consist of?

Jon Pardi talks about his perfect date night. “I don’t know. I’m not the very romantic type, but… Dinner after all my yard work is done. On my deck, and we’re grilling, and we’ve got the music playing, and we get a bottle of wine.”

THOMAS RHETT / KELSEA BALLERINI

Music isn’t the only focus while Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini are out on his Home Team tour. They also spend a lot of time throwing punches at one another — as a workout, of course.

Thomas Rhett talks about working out on the road. “Kelsea’s in such good shape. I mean I brought a boxing coach out on the road and so she was working with my boxing coach here in town and now we all kind of box together on the road. It’s pretty hilarious.”

MAREN MORRIS

Maren Morris is known for her cool sense of style, but when payday rolls around, you won’t find her shopping for new duds in a clothing store.

Maren Morris talks about being a makeup person. “I’m more of a makeup person and hair person. Even though I just cut all mine off. My mom owns a hair salon, so I’ve just been always more into beauty than fashion, I think. So, I think the most money I spend goes to Sephora more than a clothing store.”

I GOAT to know more about Goat Yoga

I don’t plan on doing goat yoga, but I really want to talk about goat yoga with people that actually own goats. Do you own a goat? Would you talk with me about the possible mystical nature of your goat? Can I play clips on the air?

Please help me with my latest crazy thing.

CARRIE UNDERWOOD

Carrie Underwood is one busy woman. With a two-year-old son at home and a crazy busy music career, how does she manage to make time for everything?

She revealed her secret to People magazine recently, saying, “You just make room and you learn how important family time is and to be able to spend time and carve out some of that, and maybe get to go on vacation and maybe get to go on a cruise — that stuff is so important, too. Like I said, make time for family, that’s what it’s all about.” (People)

BRETT YOUNG

Brett Young might be one of the most eligible bachelors in country music, but he doesn’t plan on being a bachelor much longer. In fact, he’s put a lot of thought into his future with a family.

Brett Young talks about having kids. “I absolutely want a family and children. When I was younger, I thought I wanted a lot. And now, you know, I’ve gotten a little bit older, and I’ve thought about it more, and I definitely want a few, but I don’t know how many, and I don’t know when I’m ready to start.”

DRAKE WHITE

Whenever Drake White needs to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, he heads to the water. While he loves being on a river or a lake, he also enjoys catching a few waves on the coast.

Drake White talks surfing.“My love of surfing started in movies and then once I got the opportunity to go to New Zealand and envelop myself in that culture it was all over.”

16-Month Old Walkersville Boy Needs Your Help!

Karter is a 16 month old precious little boy who lives in Walkersville,

His parents, Keith and Krista Novak, moved to Maryland from Las Vegas with Karter and his 4 year old sister Khloe to be close to family and start roots in Frederick County. The Novaks recently put a contract on a new home in Walkersville and were preparing for settlement in less than two weeks.

On the evening of Easter Sunday, Karter became ill and was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital. Shortly after being examined the family was informed Karter was showing the signs and symptoms of leukemia. He was immediately prepped and flown to Children’s Hospital in Washington DC for follow up tests which confirmed the diagnosis of AML Leukemia.

Karter has been receiving around the clock care since his arrival at the hospital and has suffered a few setbacks. His internal organs are swollen and he has had to be on dialysis to help his kidneys function properly. He has been intubated to help him breath and is being fed through tubes. Karter started receiving Chemotherapy treatments on Tuesday and has underwent a number of procedures and tests over the past week. This little warrior is a brave fighter but he needs prayers and support as he continues to battle this disease.

The Novak family has remained strong through this devastating ordeal but they are in need of support so they can remain by Karter’s side. Keith and Krista have not been able to work and the hospital expenses are adding up. Their insurance will cover a portion of Karter’s medical costs, but his initial treatment is expected to last several months.

Fundraisers are being coordinated to help the family. Your donations and fundraising support is greatly appreciated. The Novaks are deeply humbled by the outpouring of support from the Frederick community. Please continue to pray for Karter and the Novak family.

There is a GoFundMe page for Karter to help his family. Prayers for this sweet little boy and his family.
