Johnny Galecki lost his ranch Monday night in a fire.
TMZ says the actor’s San Luis Obispo property burned to the ground in a 1,600-acre fire that swept through the area.
The Big Bang Theory star tells TMZ, “My heart goes out to all in the area who are also experiencing loss from this vicious fire, the threat of which we live with constantly, which may seem crazy to some but we do so because living in our beautiful, rural area makes it worthwhile.”

According to PestWorld.org, the lone star tick gets its name from the single silvery-white spot located on the female’s back. These ticks attack humans more frequently than any other tick species in the eastern and southeastern states. Lone star tick bites will occasionally result in a circular rash, and they can transmit diseases. It is essential that you remove a lone star tick immediately.
To protect yourself from ticks, keep your clothes tucked in, wear light colors and give yourself several “tick checks” throughout the day.

Daniel Day-Lewis is retiring from acting and he already has his next career lined up.
According to Page Six, the Oscar-winner plans to “become a dressmaker.”
The actor announced last week that he’s leaving showbusiness. Page Six says he was planning to quit for years and had been searching for the right film to go out on top with. He apparently found that with Paul Thomas Anderson’s upcoming movie about — you guessed it — the world of high fashion.
A source says Daniel “did such intense research and learned so much about couture fashion for his final film playing ‘an uncompromising dressmaker commissioned by royalty and high society. that he will stick with the profession off-screen and become a dressmaker.”
The as-yet-untitled movie comes out December 25th.
