Osbourne Marriage on the Rocks

Another celebrity marriage on the rocks…

Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have split up after 34 years of marriage.

The final straw came when Sharon discovered that the singer was cheating on her. The Sun says the woman in question is 45-year-old celebrity hairstylist Michelle Pugh.

Ozzy is living at The Beverly Hills Hotel after Sharon kicked him out of the family home.

This is not the first time the 67-year-old has been unfaithful, nor the first time he’s been booted out of the house. (Premiere Prep)

Arsenio Hall Sues Sinead O’Connor Over Prince Drug Claim

Arsenio Hall is suing Sinead O’Connor after the singer claimed the comedian was Prince’s drug dealer.

The libel lawsuit, filed today (Thursday), seeks damages “in an amount not less than $5 million” and reads, “The malicious statements made by O’Connor are absolutely false, and O’Connor’s heinous accusations that Hall engaged in this criminal conduct are despicable, fabricated lies.”

Earlier this week on Facebook, Sinead wrote, “Two words for the DEA investigating where Prince got his drugs over the decades…. Arsenio Hall.  Anyone imagining Prince was not a longtime hard drug user is living in cloud cuckoo land. Arsenio, I’ve reported you to the Carver County Sheriff’s office. Expect their call. They are aware you spiked me years ago at Eddie Murphy‘s house. You best get tidying your man cave.”

According to a recent report, investigators found the painkiller Percocet in Prince’s system at the time of his death. (Premiere Prep)

Bio

Watch a pitcher out on the mound, on any team, from a nine-year-old kid in the Babe Ruth league all the way upto a million dollar ace in the Majors. There’s a look in his eyes—an intensity—that goes right to his core.

And when you see that look in Brett Young’s baby blues, it isn’t too hard to understand what took this California boy from a ball field to the recording studio. His gritty vocals and impassioned lyrics are built on the same firm foundation that had him as a pre-draft selection of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays straight out of high school—hard work, sheer talent and that thing music industry execs and baseball talent scouts alike simply call heart.

Those same qualities have gotten Brett’s songs placed on television shows like MTV’s The Real World and Kardashian pop culture favorite Kourtney and Kim Take New York, and his feet planted firmly on some of the most well-known stages in the world—The Roxy, The Troubador, The Viper Room, sharing those stages with some of pop music’s best and brightest, from Colbie Caillat to Gavin DeGraw to Katy Perry.

Not bad for what Brett Young once thought would just be a “hobby.” But when a major elbow injury and reconstructive surgery took him off the pitcher’s mound for good, he found out that his love for music became so much more, and what he thought was the end was only the beginning.

“Everyone leaves a trail of ‘almosts’ and bittersweet memories behind on the road to ‘the one’,” says Brett. “It happened to me on my journey—it happens to everyone. Now I use those moments when I write music. I guess it is fortunate for me that people most easily relate to heartbreak. I’m an over-emotional, hopeless romantic who feels everything, and that shows in my songs.”

With three independent albums already under his belt, Brett is taking his newest batch of songs into the studio with David Hall at the production helm, known for his GRAMMY Award winning work as an engineer, with artists of nearly every genre. And true to form, he’ll be showcasing that intensity and emotion in his recordings, of songs like “Fire” and “Breathe Again.”

“I grew up with Al Green, Marvin Gaye—soul singers. I like that the emotion carries the songs, where the music is almost secondary,” he says. “Van Morrison’s ‘Crazy Love’—that’s just timeless. They influence me; as a songwriter and a performer, I want to connect like they did. And when your audience feels like they can relate, then you have something much more special than a show, or a sale. You have a fan.”

When it comes to Brett Young, it isn’t so far from a pitcher’s mound to a major stage, and it doesn’t really matter what kind of Big Show you’re talking about. Because in the end, when you have that thing called heart, it shows. You may see it in his eyes, but you’ll hear it in his voice.

Brett has since played venues ranging from House of Blues to Troubadour, and shared the stage with such artists as Mandy Moore, Tyrone Wells, Jason Reeves, Gavin Degraw, Tyler Hilton, Katy Perry, Hoku and many more. Brett recently released his second record, Make Believe and is currently in the studio finishing up his latest album.

Drake White

An artist like Drake White doesn’t come along every day. As his Dot Records debut It Feels Good: Live demonstrates, the Alabama native is a commanding, deeply expressive singer, a riveting, charismatic performer and a one-of-a-kind songwriter whose vivid lyrical insights are rooted in his small-town Southern upbringing and honed by his experiences touring America with his band the Big Fire. White’s effortlessly infectious songcraft combines swagger and sensitivity, channeling a bottomless well of American influences into timeless music that’s firmly planted in the here and now.

White has already generated significant amounts of fan excitement and music-industry buzz, as well as scoring a Top 40 country hit with 2013′s “The Simple Life.” Named one of Billboard‘s “10 Hot Country Artists to Watch in 2015″ and dubbed “an electric performer with a gospel howl” byRolling Stone Country, White was also prominent on Rolling Stone‘s list of “The 37 Best Things We Saw at CMA Fest 2014.”

It Feels Good: Live is a lean, mean five-song EP that serves as a compelling introduction to Drake White’s indomitable musical spirit, as well as a tantalizing preview of the full-length album that he’s working on with noted producers Ross Copperman (Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, the Eli Young Band) and Jeremy Stover (Justin Moore, Jack Ingram, Martina McBride).

Prince Scheduled for Intervention Before Death

Shocking development in the investigation into the death of Prince.

A Minneapolis lawyer has made a shocking revelation about the death of Prince. An intervention had been scheduled for the morning his body was discovered.

The night before he died, the singer’s reps requested the help of a California specialist in opioid addiction treatment. Attorney William Mauzy told the Minneapolis Star Tribune (quote) “Prince was dealing with a grave medical emergency.”

Dr. Howard Kornfeld could not immediately clear his schedule to meet with Prince. It was his son who made the fateful 911 call on April 21 to report a death at Paisley Park.

Andrew Kornfeld had taken a red-eye flight to Minneapolis to “quickly evaluate his health and devise a treatment plan.” The goal of this intervention was to convince Prince to undergo around-the-clock care in California.

Multiple sources say the singer had been abusing prescription painkillers.

Unfortunately, Andrew Kornfeld arrived the morning Prince’s body was discovered in the elevator. Kornfeld was just one of three people at Paisley Park. He made the 911 call, because the staffers “were in too much shock.”

Andrew informed the dispatcher (quote) “The people are just distraught. We’re in Minneapolis, Minnesota. We are at the home of Prince.” (Premiere Prep)
