Resolutions of getting in shape, earning more money, spending more time with family, getting more sleep, and to stop procrastinating.

Have you been able to keep yours?  If not – today is a pinnacle for anyone tettering on their resolution.  It’s National ‘Ditch New Years Resolutions Day’!

If you have been able to keep your pledges for better health and wealth in the new year, good job! If not, today you can give up on your resolution guilt free and join others doing the same!

Here is what we talked about on the air.

Little Big Town Baby

LEE BRICE: Put His Priorities in Order

There\’s a mini population explosion going on in Nashville. Kimberly Schlapman just adopted a baby girl, Shay Mooney of Dan and Shay and his fiancee are expecting, Stephen Barker Lyles of Love and Theft are having a baby girl, Ashley Monroe announced her pregnancy on Christmas day and Lee Brice and his wife are expecting baby number three this summer.

Lee says when he started having kids he had to learn to prioritize the things in his life, so he doesn\’t miss important moments.

\”I have to say no sometimes to some things I might need to do for my career. I\’ve got to say no, that\’s not as important as going trick-or-treating. Hopefully I\’m just getting better at that. What\’s priorities. Figuring out what priorities are…\”

Good News 1/13/17 – School Bus Driver

Here is the full story for today’s Good News!

Thanks to a school bus driver in Floyd, Virginia, some kids now have something extra to keep them warm while they’re outside in cold weather.

Sue Gladding bought 50 pairs of gloves and 40 hats – and handed them out to the kids on their way home from school.

The gift surprised the parents, but Sue says she had to do it.

She didn’t like seeing the children shivering in the morning and said it was worth it because she loves them all. (WDBJ-TV)

HOA’s – Do They Go Too Far????

Many neighborhoods across the country are managed by home owner association groups.

HOA’s are meant to keep neighborhoods looking nice and property values up. But do they ever go too far when they travel the streets looking for violators?

Some of the complaints people have with their HOA’s are failure to respond to inquiries in a timely manner, unreasonable delays in resolving homeowner problems, and inconsiderate or disrespectful tone when communicating with homeowners.

So what do you do if you have a problem with your HOA?  Experts say consider ways to achieve compromise in a dispute with the organization.  As a last resort, take legal action against the HOA.
