Hi friends!!!
Last night was so much fun! I went to TLC Bridal to pick up and try on my wedding dress 🙂 Its so perfect thanks to the wonderful ladies at TLC! I made a fun little video while I was there, too, so check that out below! Its honestly a little scary taking it home, its like “okay, so you trust me with this thing?!” J.J probably thought I was crazy when I said, “how do I carry it?” haha! It’s in a big bag and I didn’t know how delicate I had to be! But it made it home totally fine and is hanging up in the closet at my parents house. Hidden away and safe!
The best part about going to a bridal store that has great customer service is that they not only help you find your dream dress, but J.J. also helped me with so much more than that. She’s the queen of the wedding biz for sure! Anything I still needed for my big day, she knows the best vendor/ person for the job and is always willing to help and give you great ideas.
At my appointment last night, I also picked out a few other things to wear on our wedding day! In the video you can see all the sparkly hair accessories…I got a gorgeous little clip to wear and it was so much fun trying all the different styles on. Literally, you can find hair accessories that are big or small and they’re all so pretty! I also got a “diamond-y” garter and another one to throw (woo hoo! I can’t wait for that part of the wedding reception) AND a sparkly belt to complete my dress! BUT, my favorite part was ordering my veil!!! Everything just comes together once you put the veil on! My dress is a Casablanca Bridal gown and recently they started making veils to match their dresses, so I HAD to have that one of course 😉 ….I can’t wait for you all to see it!!!
Also! Finally finished and mailed our save the dates! That was a big check off the list. Now, I’m focusing on center pieces and other decorations!
Next up! the guys ‘M.Stein suit fitting’ is tomorrow! We are so excited to have a little party with all the guys at our home. Can’t wait to share pictures!

Tragedy struck a Baltimore family last week. A house fire claimed six of Kate Malone’s nine children last Thursday.
Kate and her surviving children were hospitalized. She was in critical condition, now officials say she is listed in good condition.
The fire happened while Kate’s husband was at work. Her eight-year-old daughter managed to lead her mother and two of her siblings to safety, but the other six children died.
Kate thanked people for their support in a Facebook post and suggested honoring her children in different ways. For 11- year-old Bridgette, make art. Speak out against injustice for 10-year-old Amelia. For 3-year-old twins, Amanda and Zoe, solve a problem. Be helpful for 2-year-old Billy, and smile and laugh for 9-month old Daniel.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Kate is a staff member for House Rep. Elijah Cummings.

There are so many great puns I want to make about this story that would only get me in trouble. I will let this poster cross that line for me.

When I was growing up, it was imperative that every word was spelled correctly in any paper or letter you wrote. I didn’t have ‘spell check’ on my typewriter, I used the dictionary.
Things are different now. Kids don’t use a dictionary, they rely on their electrical devices to correct their spelling mistakes. Or in some cases, they spell words in new and creative ways.
Recently a twitter exchange between a Frederick County Public School student and a school employee went viral – over a misspelled word.
So I did some research, and found some of the ‘best’ misspelled words on social media. They are actually very funny, so maybe I should be thanking them for a good laugh! Or maybe thanking them for ‘righting’ so well!
Iford Tower instead of Eiffel Tower.
Running arrons instead of running errands.
Raw man noodles instead of Ramen Noodles.
Seizure salad instead of Caesar Salad.
Human bean instead of human being.
