My last day hosting the Free Ride was super colorful! We asked listeners to submit photos showing off their green for Saint Patrick’s Day and boy did they deliver! We also called a local listen who is from Ireland and got he to record a short, but 100% authentic message for the day!

After raising five daughters, Trace Adkins has learned his fair share of parenting lessons, but he has only one piece of advice for soon-to-be father Thomas Rhett.
Trace Adkins: “Mancaves are not just luxuries. They’re necessities. Get one.”
Although Brett Eldredge swore he would never be that guy who posts tons of pictures and videos of his dog, that quickly changed when he met his puppy, Edgar. The 10-month-old Weimaraner-mix never leaves Brett’s side, and if there’s one thing he’s learned from his country star dad, it’s how to work a camera.
Brett Eldredge: “He’s very camera friendly. But there’s been times where he knows he’s getting filmed, and he doesn’t like it. He’ll like run to the other room. It’s pretty funny.”
Just when you think the best bromance on The Voice is between Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, Luke Bryan steps in to steal the spotlight. With the “Battle Rounds” starting on Monday night, Luke will join Blake’s team as a mentor. Based on this teaser alone, it’s sure to be an episode you won’t want to miss.
Leprechauns, shamrocks, and lots of green! It’s St. Patrick’s Day and many of us are celebrating and wearing something green to avoid being pinched.
St Patrick’s Day is celebrated on March 17 and honors the patron saint of Ireland
Historians say Saint Patrick was born in around 385 AD. He became a Christian priest and went to Ireland, and spent 30 years establishing schools, churches, and monasteries across the country.
Supposedly Saint Patrick died on March 17 in the year 461.

Brett Eldredge isn’t afraid to admit that he is a bit of a romantic when it comes to movies. In fact, if he could star in any film of his choice, he would try his hand at a role in one of the most popular chick flicks of all time.
Brett Eldredge: “I’d wanna be in The Notebook because every girl loves that movie. [laughs] Take Ryan Gosling’s spot, and then I would really have the ladies. [laughs] Notebook 2, Brett Eldredge stars.”
Tomorrow (Friday) is St. Patrick’s Day, and people around the world will spend their day celebrating their Irish heritage. If you’re one of the many people who plan to sip on a green beer or two, you may not feel so great the next morning.
For Justin Moore, there’s only one way to get rid of that terrible hangover.
Justin Moore: “Hair of the dog—screwdrivers is my go to. It’s like taking a BC Powder to me. I have a screwdriver, I’m set.”
While Chris Young might be one of the best vocalists in country music, he doesn’t share that same level of talent on the golf course.
Chris Young: “I suck. I’m very aware, I’m the guy that if I’m in a group of people, I’ll pick the ball up. Like if it gets bad enough I’ll just, ‘It’s alright we’ll just go on to the next hole I’ll be fine.’ I’m that guy. But I enjoy playing. And I’ll always take somebody up on a round of golf. I may lose more balls than everybody else. It’s fine.”
Earlier this week, Jon Pardi found out he’d won his first ever ACM Award, nabbing New Male Vocalist of the Year. Check out this #TBT video of a young Keith Urban winning the same award back in 2001. It’s hard to believe he’s up for seven awards this year!

It’s annoying and actually dangerous – snow and ice flying off of vehicles onto other cars. The snow pack can crack windshields and dent cars.
It happened to me yesterday on Rt 340 in Harpers Ferry and cracked my windshield. But I am so thankful that it didn’t shatter my windshield like in this video. Just trying to find the positive:)

A few weeks ago, RaeLynn celebrated her debut album Wildhorse by getting a tattoo of a horse on her forearm. After spending hours online, searching for ink inspiration, she decided to let her tattoo artist create a one-of-a-kind piece instead.
RaeLynn: “I’ve always wanted a horse tattoo. I got some blue bonnets around it for Texas. And I wanted her to be really girly. When he drew her up, I was like, ‘Can you make her eyelashes just a little bigger?’ It’s funny cuz I never thought I was gonna be that girl with a big tattoo on her arm, but now I’m that girl with that big tattoo on my arm.”
If you manage to catch Dustin Lynch‘s eye while he’s on stage, don’t expect him to stick around for long. Over the years, he has perfected his audience eye-contact time.
Dustin Lynch: “You can’t give them too much, you know, then it gets a little awkward. If you give somebody more than like four seconds, the whole crowd starts looking like, ‘Why is he singing to her for so long? Who is she?’”
It won’t be long until Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren welcome two babies into their lives, and Thomas plans to take advantage of every minute he has until his dad responsibilities kick in.
Thomas Rhett: “Life is gonna be different, for sure, because our lives are about to drastically change, and I somewhat feel like I’m in a bachelorhood period right now because neither of our children are here yet. So, I’m kinda like, ‘Yeah, let’s go live it up until they get here!’”
