Kim Kardashian insists there’s no drugs in an Instagram video she posted — at first she said it’s only candy.
Rumors began to swirl when some eagle-eyed fans noticed two white lines on a counter behind the star, leading some to believe Kim has a drug problem. But the reality star shut down the rumors, tweeting, “I do not play with rumors like this so I’m gonna shut it down real quick. That’s sugar from our candy mess from Dylan‘s candy shop.”
Later in the day, she identified the real culprit: The white lines are part of the marbled table. Kim reiterated how drugs are “just not my lifestyle. I’ve never been like that. I have kids.”
I saw this on Facebook and had to share it mainly because we live within minutes of the Shenandoah River and love to swim there.
A resident at Shenandoah river, Shenandoah VA, reported that their 12 year old son was throwing a stick into the water for their Labrador retriever Sam to fetch when suddenly the dog started emitting loud yelps and frantically started swimming to shore. When Sam got to the shore, he had severe wounds to his legs and torso and was bleeding badly. Sam was taken to a veterinarian who treated the dog and called the State of Virginia Department of Game and Fishes. Game Wardens used nets in the area of the attack and subsequently netted about a dozen Piranhas, the largest about 2 pounds. Officials stated that it is not unusual for aquarium owners to release Piranhas into lakes when the fish get too large for their aquariums; but usually Piranhas cannot survive the cold climate that is present in Virginia. Fish and Game officials speculate that the warm waters near the Shenandoah River Nuclear facility allow the Piranhas to survive. Officials are consulting with biologists about how to address the problem; meanwhile they are going to issue an official warning to people to avoid getting into the water until the Piranhas can be eliminated from Shenandoah River.
Sam is resting quietly in the hospital recovering from his wounds. Anyone wishing to send cards please send to the following address:

A 50-year-old man who’s been color blind his entire life and has seen everything in black and white, says he now understands why his pants are called blue jeans after an amazing gift from his family.
Chris Smelcer recently celebrated his birthday and was given a pair of Enchroma glasses, which correct color blindness. As soon as he put them on, he reacted as if he had just entered a new world and was immediately brought to tears.
Chris was amazed and was stunned when he saw the color of his jeans. He then stood up and walked around to see green grass, the blue sky and the colorful party balloons.
His wife said, “Chris was so overwhelmed. I don’t think he has tears left.” (Good News Network)
Stories about Kelsea Ballerini, Carly Pearce, Justin Moore, and Lady Antebellum!
KELSEA BALLERINI: Firm Believer in Dry Shampoo
There’s one beauty product that Kelsea Ballerini just can’t get enough of, and it’s part of the reason she always manages to have perfectly tousled waves.
She says, “I am a firm believer in the power of dry shampoo. I use it all the time. I think it’s great. It saves you from having to wash your hair all the time… I think I probably wash mine like two or three times a week, which is good for your hair, actually.” (People)
CARLY PEARCE: Worries About "Every Little Thing"
“Every Little Thing” singer Carly Pearce is having major success with her debut single, but that doesn’t keep her nerves at bay.
Carly Pearce: “I worry a lot. It’s in my blood, it’s like my grandma was a worrier. It’s just hard to get my mind to shut off. I would like to worry less, and live in the moment a little more.”
JUSTIN MOORE: Daughters Don't Want to Be Like Daddy
Justin Moore’s three daughters love watching their dad perform, but they don’t plan to follow in his footsteps — at least not anytime soon. Although they’ve joined Justin on stage from time to time, he says they’re just not interested in being the stars of the show.
Justin Moore: “Well, I have to coerce them into doing it. They don’t like doing it. My oldest daughter is actually a really, really good singer, if I could get her to actually sing. But they get a little gun shy when we go out on stage.”
LADY ANTEBELLUM: Share South African Safari Plans
Lady Antebellum plan to visit several awesome places during the You Look Good World Tour, but the trio is most excited about ending the tour in South Africa. Because none of them (or their families) have been there before, Charles Kelley’s wife took it upon herself to plan a not-so-traditional African safari.
Lady Antebellum talk about their upcoming South African safari plans:
Charles – “Yeah, my wife has already planned ours.”
Hillary – “Cassie’s the party planner.”
Charles – “She called it Glamping, though. Apparently, it’s like, being out there, but they’ve got people that like bring you cocktails and stuff.”
Hillary – [laughs]
Charles – “I was like, ‘This sounds…’”
Dave – “Like a great safari!”
Charles – “Sounds really good, but kind of expensive.”
Hillary – “I’m just gonna piggy back on y’all’s trip.”
Dave – “They’re bringing cocktails, and so…”
Hillary – “I know, right?… Duh.”
Charles – “Yeah, I’m like, ‘I’m in! They’ve got free drinks.’ She knew that was the only way I’d be into it.”
Lindsay Shookus has already moved into Ben Affleck’s place. That was rather quick.
The original statement from his team claimed, “It’s early and they are taking it slow.” But this week, a source admitted, “Lindsay is full-on living with Ben. They’re officially a couple. She’s happy she doesn’t have to hide their relationship anymore.”
Reports suggest that Shookus and Ben have been sneaking around for over three years. They made excuses for commuting between New York City and Los Angeles. Then their spouses discovered the illicit affair in 2015.
Shookus still has a job with Saturday Night Live. But over the summer, she’d stay with Ben with regular trips back east to visit her daughter. On the horizon, there’ll be a meeting of Ben’s three kids with their potential step-mom. (E! News)
Steve Winfree of Tennessee is a lifelong baseball fan. He’s been collecting baseball cards since he was a kid. But he recently found one in a new pack that’s way more valuable than any other card in his collection — because it saved his life.
Winfree suffers from a kidney disease and has been awaiting a transplant for several years. His wife Heather recently gave him a new pack of cards to open. He was delighted to find a Mike Trout card and a card of Yankees rookie Clint Frazier. But then he stumbled on something very rare… a Steve Winfree card.
The card had a picture of Steve taken at the transplant center. Heather then told him to flip it over and read the back. With tears welling up in his eyes he read, “Steve has had a lot on his plate. With his health issues, he has been striking out a lot. He was not sure how he was going to wind up. His wife Heather thinks he is a great catch, so she decided to go to bat for him. Now Steve will be a rookie recipient at Vanderbilt Transplant Center where his wife Heather will be pitching a new kidney to him.”
Heather had just learned that she is a match for Steve and, knowing that her husband loves baseball cards, contacted the Topps company and had a customized card printed.
Steve says, “I feel very blessed that I’m going to have a second opportunity to try and have a normal life. For it to come from my wife is absolutely amazing. I already loved her until death do us part. Now, I mean, I don’t know how I could love her any more.” (MLB.com)
With a single titled “Drinkin’ Problem,” it’s easy to assume the guys in Midland are the epitome of party boys, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Mark Wystrach: “In a normal life, like not to portray ourselves as like these, you know, just completely lost drunkards, every one of us exercises almost on a daily basis. That’s really important for us. We eat incredibly well, lots of vegetables, lots of greens and drink tons of water. That’s kind of the deal on a daily basis.”
KELSEA BALLERINI: Spent Lots of Time on the Lake
Kelsea Ballerini moved to Nashville at age 15 to pursue her music career, but some of the most memorable summers of her life took place in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Kelsea Ballerini: “I did a lot of summer camps, and I did a lot of lake time. So, we had Norris Lake out there, so pontoon boat with the big inner tube that you put on the back of it. That was our summer weekend every weekend.”
MIRANDA LAMBERT: De-Stressing Via Glamping
When Miranda Lambert has had a long week of all work and no play, she de-stresses by doing a few of the things she loves. She chatted about her idea of the perfect night in a recent interview, saying, “I ride horses, drink wine and go glamping.”
The “Tin Man” singer says it’s hard to choose between spending time with her girlfriends or focusing on “me-time” and needs a healthy dose of both. (Cosmopolitan)
