{Katie’s Kitchen} Italian Sausage with Spinach Over Pasta

This easy ‘quarantine’ dinner was something that I threw together with things that I had in my kitchen and it turned out so delicious!

Mild or Sweet Italian Sausage (you can double it with two packages, if you want), your favorite pasta sauce, favorite type of pasta, spinach (frozen or fresh), minced garlic and onions.

I started out by chopping my onions and adding them to a medium-high skillet with the Italian sausages. Brown the sausage on all sides, then add minced garlic.

Pour your red sauce over top of everything in to the pan. Simmer while the sausage cooks through.

Cook your pasta.

Add in a cup of spinach. I used frozen so I steamed the spinach in the microwave before adding it.

Let everything simmer for 10 mins. Drain the pasta when it is finished.

Then, add your sausage and sauce with spinach on top of the pasta and enjoy!



-1 package of 5 Italian Sausage

-1 box of Linguine pasta (or whatever kind you enjoy most)

-1 Jar of your favorite pasta sauace

– 1 clove minced garlic

-1/2 yellow or white onion chopped

-1 cup spinach

-Parmesan cheese to top!
