Katie’s Kitchen- Thanksgiving Appetizer! Cranberry Brie Puffs

Heading to someone’s house for Thanksgiving dinner this year? Well, if you need to bring something delicious, but don’t have much time, then this appetizer might be perfect for you!

I saw this recipe circulating on the videos on my Facebook feed and had to try them!

Three ingredients…that’s all you need!…and a muffin pan.

  1. Puff Pastries (1 box, will make you approx. 12 pastrys, so I used 2 boxes for more people) *Lay the layer out flat and let defrost for 40 mins.*
  2. Brie – your fav. brie from your local grocery store. Depending on the size of it, you will need one 3/4 in. cube for the middle of each of your puffs.
  3. Cranberry sauce- I used a can of pre-made whole cranberry sauce for mine…just to make it quicker, but you can definitely use your own homemade (probably taste even better!)

Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees and while that’s heating up cut your puff pastry into 3×4 or 3×3 in. squares. Push the squares into the holes in the muffin pan. Next, take your brie cubes and place one into each puff pastry and then top with a dollop of cranberry sauce.

Toss them in the oven to cook for 10 mins. or until the edges of the flaky pastry are looking toasty! Then let them cool for a minute before you bite in, but the melty cheese with the cranberry and pastry is SO delicious!!!

Easy peasyyyy! They look good on a festive plate and everyone will want one!
