As the holidays approach, it’s important to remember that for so many families right here in Frederick County, this season isn’t filled with abundance—it’s filled with worry. The choice between paying a bill or putting food on the table is a reality for far too many of our neighbors. This Thanksgiving, YOU can help change that.
WFRE is once again proud to partner with Weis Markets to support the Frederick County Food Bank and the Frederick Rescue Mission with our Stuff the Truck Food Drive! Together, we can make sure no family in our community has to go without a Thanksgiving meal.
From Saturday, November 15th through Sunday, November 23rd, we’ll be broadcasting live from different Weis Markets locations across the area. All you have to do is stop by with non-perishable food donations and help us fill the Smock Truck to the brim! Every can of vegetables, every box of stuffing, every bag of rice, every jar of peanut butter—it all adds up to hope and comfort for families who need it most.
This isn’t just about food—it’s about love, dignity, and community. It’s about showing that when Frederick County comes together, there’s nothing we can’t do.
