Thurmont, Md. (BW)- Two people were displaced and one firefighter was injured during a house fire near Thurmont late Sunday evening.
Crews from Frederick County Fire and Rescue Services responded to the home in the 7900 block of Black Road around 11:54 p.m.
Fire was seen going through the second story and the roof. Part of the roof collapsed in the fire.
Firefighters battled the blaze for about 50 minutes when it was conatined by 12:43 a.m. Monday.
The cause and origin of the fire are still being investigated. The estimated value lost has not yet been determined.
