Three More Suspects Charged In The Murder Of A Frederick Teen

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police say three more suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of a teenager last year.

Asael Ernesto Perez Rojas, 23, was taken into custody on May 9th, charged with being accessory after the fact in  the murder of Limber Lopez Funez. 15.  He also had an active arrest warrant for failing to appear in court on felony drug charges.

The US Marshals Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Santos Reyes Depaz Cruz, 22, on May 14th at a home in Frederick.  He has an active arrest warrant for 1st-degree murder in connection with this homicide.

Detectives with the Frederick Police Major Crimes Unit, with assistance from the Sheriff’s Office, arrested Roberto Bladimir Flores Flores, 24, on May 17th. He also has  an active warrant for 1st-degree murder in connection with Funez’s death. .

Police say to date, a total of nine people have been arrested in connection with this homicide.

Funez’s body was found in April, 2023 at Gambrill State Park. Police say Funez had been reported as a critically missing person since February of that year.  He was a Frederick High School student.
