Teenager Charged As An Adult In Two Armed Robberies In Montgomery County

He is being held without bond.

Bethesda, Md (KM) Montgomery County Police have charged a juvenile as an adult with five counts of armed robbery.   Nytrell Tyshawn Parrish, 16, was arrested on Saturday, May 18th.

Police say he is charged with robbing the Tobacco Hub in the 7800 block of Old Georgetown Road on Sunday, May 12rh  In that incident, investigators say the suspect walked into the story at around 2:08 PM, and asked to see some vape products. He displayed a handgun, and demanded the employee hand over the items.

At 3:21 PM on the same day, police say the suspect entered that  store again, displaying a handgun, and demanding cash. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money..

Parrish is also charged with robbing Geste Food and Wines in the 4800 block of Edgemoor Boulevard on Monday, May 13th. The suspect entered the store at around 7:10 PM, and asked about some vape products. He displayed a handgun and demanded cash from the register. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

On Tuesday, May 14th, Parrish is alleged to have entered Geste Food and Wines, displayed a handgun and demanded money. Once again, he got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Both businesses are located  in Bethesda.

Montgomery County Police say their Major Crimes Division obtained video from these incidents, and  detectives were able to identify Parrish as the suspect.

He’s charged with four counts each of armed robbery and use of a handgun in a violent crime.

Parrish is being held without bond.
