Veterans and Old Farm Gates, and Visitor Control Center will be closed in observation of Organization Day.
Frederick, MD (JK) – In observance of the U.S. Army Garrison Fort Detrick’s Organization Day on Friday, June 7th, access to the Fort will be limited to the Nallin Farm Gate off of Opossumtown Pike.
The Old Farm and Veterans Gates will be closed as well as the Visitor Control Center. All vehicle and pedestrian traffic must enter the installation through the Nallin Farm Gate.
Visitor vetting will occur at the guard station within the vehicle search area at the gate.
In order to enable Garrison employees to participate in the event, all Garrison services will be closed, including ID Cards, MILPO, childcare and all programs under Human Resources and Morale, Welfare and Recreation.
The U.S. Army Garrison is asking personnel and visitors to please plan accordingly.
