Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division Investigating Double Homicide

Silver Spring, MD (JK) – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division are investigating a double homicide that occurred on Sunday, May 26, 2024.

At approximately 6:57 p.m., Montgomery County Police and Maryland-National Capital Park Police officers responded to the Nolte Local Park in the 200 block of Denver Rd. in Silver Spring.

Upon arrival, officers located two 20-year-old victims, Quincy Johnson, of Takoma Park, and D’Andre Wint, of Lanham, who were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Lifesaving attempts were not successful, and Johnson and Wint were pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, there are no suspect(s) in custody. This is an active and ongoing investigation.
