The 44-year-old driver attacked another vehicle early Tuesday morning, shattering a window before fleeing the scene.
Leesburg, VA (JK) – Leesburg police responded Tuesday morning to a reported road rage incident that escalated into a violent encounter. Around 7:40 a.m., officers were called to the intersection of Lawson Road SE and Trailview Boulevard SE, where a driver reportedly brandished a machete and struck the passenger-side window of another vehicle.
Authorities identified the suspect as 44-year-old Qadishtu Immiatiratu of Leesburg. He was taken into custody and charged with assault and brandishing a weapon. Immiatiratu is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.
