Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a double shooting last week. Nyzeir Sampson, 28, of Frederick was apprehended in Hagerstown on Monday by Frederick Police Detectives and member of the US Marshals;’ Task Force.. He is charged with attempted 1st-degree murder, 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, two counts of reckless endangerment, possession of a handgun on his person, possession of a handgun in a vehicle, having a loaded handgun on his person and use of a handgun in the commission of a violent crime. .
Sampson is being held without bond.
On Monday evening, April 28th, officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Key Parkway for a shooting. They found two men with gunshot wounds. First aid was administered by the officers until medics arrived. The two men were flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore where they were treated and released the next day The two declined to cooperate with police.
