Frederick, Md (KM) Late Thursday night, Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the intersection of Routes 355 and 85 for an injured person lying in the roadway.
Authorities say a woman was found in the road. She was treated for her injuries by emergency medical technicians before being flown to regional trauma center where she remains with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies say she was not struck by a motor vehicle, but an investigation is underway to determine how she was injured. Anyone who has information on this incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
