The pools will be open to the public.
Frederick, Md. (BW)- After originally being scheduled to open on May 27, the Diggs and Thomas swimming pools will now open on June 1.
During routine inspections, the city of Frederick identified some safety concerns and are now making enhancements before opening the pools.
The Edward P Thomas pool is located in Baker Park at 500 Fleming Avenue. The William R Diggs pool is located in Mullinix Park at 125 West All Saints Street.
