He is a 20-year-old from Frederick
Frederick, Md. -Maryland State Police have identified one of the two people killed in a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near New Market.
According to the Frederick News Post – 20-year-old Thomas McGinley of Frederick was a passenger in a box truck heading westbound around 4:10 p.m. on May 25, when it was rear-ended by a BMW SUV. The impact pushed the box truck into the eastbound lanes, where it collided with a tractor-trailer.
Both large vehicles veered into nearby woods and caught fire. McGinley and the driver of the box truck died at the scene. Their identities were initially unclear, but officials later confirmed the driver had also died.
The identity of that driver is still being confirmed by the medical examiner.
