Jennifer Aniston has been named People magazine’s 2016 World’s Most Beautiful Woman.
The 47-year-old actress says she was “very, very flattered” when she found out she was being named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman. She says, “There was this sort of very excited, teenage-y kind of moment.” Asked how she defines beauty, Aniston explains, “Inner confidence. Peace. Kindness. Honesty. A life well-lived. Taking on challenges and not feeling shame for things that haven’t gone the way you felt they should have. And not feeling like a failure or allowing people to critique your life and make you feel like you’ve failed at something. That’s just toxic noise.”
Jennifer was previously named People‘s Most Beautiful Woman back in 2004. (Premiere Prep)
Everybody Loves Raymond star Doris Roberts died Sunday in L.A. She was 90.
The veteran actress won five Emmys in her career, four of them for playing Marie Barone, the mother of Ray Romano‘s character on the hit CBS sitcom. Her other Emmy came in 1983 for a role on St. Elsewhere.
She also played Donna Pescow‘s mother on the ABC series Angie. On the silver screen, her credits included Barefoot in the Park, The Heartbreak Kid, Rabbit Test and The Rose.
She is being remembered by former castmates:
Patricia Heaton, who hilariously butted heads with Roberts on the show, tweeted “Truly the end of an era. My wonderful TV mother-in-law and ‘ELR’ nemesis Doris Roberts was a consummate professional from whom I learned so much. She was funny and tough and loved life, living it to the fullest. Nothing gave her greater joy than her three wonderful grandchildren, of whom she was so proud. It was truly a privilege Doris. I love and miss you.”
Ray Romano said in a statement, “Doris Roberts had an energy and a spirit that amazed me. She never stopped. Whether working professionally or with her many charities, or just nurturing and mentoring a green young comic trying to make it as an actor, she did everything with such a grand love for life and people and I will miss her dearly.” (Premiere Prep)
Former Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke had many celebrity partners over her 18-season run on the show but Ian Ziering sticks out to her as her least favorite.
Burke appeared on the podcast Allegedly with Theo Von and Matt Weiss and told them the former 90210 and Sharknado star “made me want to slit my wrists” and she couldn’t stand being with him. She says she even cried to the show’s producers and begged them to either change partners or just force them to be eliminated. Instead, the pair finished in 4th place. Burke was so disgusted by him, even his name. She added, “The fact that his name’s not [pronounced] ‘EEE-an’ and it’s ‘EYE-an’ makes me want to throw up.” (Premiere Prep)
TMZ is alleging that some starstruck police in Florida helped Zac Brown escape a drug bust inside a hotel room in Palm Beach in last week.
Zac was reportedly inside the room at the Four Seasons when cops conducted a raid and arrested four people for drug possession, including two strippers. Police insisted they had no evidence that Zac was in the room at the time, but TMZ’s sources say he was and that officers were so starstruck they let him walk and even asked for autographs. They also teased one of the arrested strippers for not knowing that she was with a famous rock star.
The police department still insists there is no evidence tying Zac to the room, but TMZ is still investigating. (premiere prep)
