Mr Met In BIG Trouble

On no Mr. Met!

He is in big trouble with the team after he made an obscene gesture towards a fan during Wednesday night’s 7-1 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers.

According to the team, the employee who did it won’t work in the costume again.

After the incident the team issued a statement

“We apologize for the inappropriate action of this employee,” the Mets said in an email attributed to the organization. “We do not condone this type of behavior. We are dealing with this matter internally.”

Poor Mr.Met.  I am sure Mrs. Met is NOT happy!

Tiger Woods In The News Again – OOPS!

Tiger Woods is in the headlines again this morning.  Not for winning a championship – he was arrested for driving under the influence on Monday in Florida.  An arrest he blames on an adverse reaction to prescribed medications.

In a statement, Woods said alcohol wasn’t involved and that he had an unforeseen reaction to prescribed medications.  He was taken into custody at 3 AM Monday and released several hours later on his own recognizance.

“I would like to apologize with all my heart to my family, friends and the fans. I expect more from myself too. I will do everything in my power to ensure this never happens again. I fully cooperated with law enforcement, and I would like to personally thank the representatives of the Jupiter Police Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office for their professionalism,” Woods said.
