{Good News} Businessman Helps Kids Get Excited for the Solar Eclipse

BUSINESSMAN DONATES 43,000 ECLIPSE GLASSES TO SCHOOL KIDS

People across the country are counting down the days until August 21st, when we’ll get to experience the first solar eclipse seen in America since 1979.

A businessman in Cleveland is so excited about the Great Eclipse of 2017 – and so excited to have children enjoy the event – that he’s donating 43,000 pairs of special eclipse glasses to six schools.

Allan Jones says he remembers a partial eclipse back in the 1980s and also remembers that it wasn’t really celebrated by his teachers.

He wants this eclipse to be special, so he ordered the special NASA-approved glasses to keep their eyes safe and even had them personalized with the date and a unique message so the kids will end up with a souvenir. (WRCB-TV)
