840-horsepower Dodge Demon Sparking Controversy
According to The National Hot Rod Association, the brand new Dodge Demon is certified as the world’s fastest quarter-mile production vehicle.
Only 3,300 Dodge Demons will be made delivering a 6.2-liter Hemi V-8 engine with 840 horsepower. Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has started shipping out the first of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demons to dealers, the automaker says.
But, the new Dodge Demon is also getting criticism for being too dangerous to be on the road and not safe for motorists.
