Pittsburgh Steeler Helps High School Girl Get A Date For Prom

In just his first season playing professional football, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster of the Pittsburgh Steelers has become a fan favorite.

And, he really became a favorite of high school junior Cate Bauer when JuJu agreed to help her get a date to prom.

Cate reached out to JuJu on Instagram to see if he would help her ask her friend Brian Mason — who happens to be a big Steelers fan — to the dance.

Sure enough. JuJu agreed and surprised Brian with a FaceTime call.

Brian was excited about the epic prom-posal and, of course, agreed to go to prom with his friend Cate.

List of Advice About Life from a 50 Year Old to a 20 Year Old

A 50-year-old lawyer in Minnesota posted a list of advice she wishes someone her age gave HER when she was 20.  There’s nothing too groundbreaking in it, but it’s making the rounds online.

Here are her top seven pieces of advice . . .

1.  Be kind, or at least courteous to other people.  It doesn’t really require much effort, and it makes you happier in the end.  So, compliment people whenever you can, and try to be as understanding and patient as possible.

2.  Don’t try to fit in too much or dwell on other people’s opinions.  Just think of them as suggestions, and stay true to yourself.  Also, never make a major life decision just to please someone else, like your parents.

3.  Never stay in a bad relationship.  Even if it’s hard to leave, it’s worth it in the end.

4.  Don’t focus too much on money.  And remember that all your stuff is replaceable.  In the end, it’s not as important as the people in your life, or the relationships you have.

5.  Don’t make snap judgements about people.  You never know the true context of what’s going on in their life.  So try to give people a break now and then.

6.  Don’t beat yourself up too much.  Do what you can to fix your mistakes, then move on.  Holding onto guilt for too long is toxic to your own happiness.

7.  Don’t worry about getting older.  Life can be better at 50 than it is at 20.

Cheaper Gym Memberships For Women? You Got My Vote

A gym owner in Michigan is making a statement about the gender pay gap … by charging women gym members two-thirds of the monthly fee that men pay. Rich Garvin, owner of the Gym of Lake Orion & Orion Judo Club in Lake Orion, Michigan, charges women $20 a month to workout at the gym, while men pay the full $30 monthly fee. 53-year-old Garvin — who was raised by a single mom and saw how she earned less than the men in her field simply because of her gender — describes himself as a person who “doesn’t like unfairness or injustice.” He decided to publish an ad in a local paper advertising the membership deal for women as a way to help raise awareness about pay inequality between men and women. Dolce & Gabbana Stun the Crowd with Drones Carrying New Bags

Fall 2018 is looking to be all about technology…especially when it comes to Dolce & Gabbana, who clearly didn’t need their models to show off their fall totes.

The crowd was stunned, after being told to turn off their wifi on their cell phones, to see drones carrying the bags coming down the runway.
