{Katie’s Kitchen} Carrot Veggie Pizza

The cutest veggie pizza ever!

If you like veggie pizza, this has an Easter spin on it to make it perfect for your family brunch/ dinner. They could be a fun snack for your kids, too, anytime!

They took about 20 mins. total to make. Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees for your crescent roll dough. Unroll the crescent roll into a rectangle and smooth the pieces together. Put into the oven to baker for 8-10 mins. and then let cool.

Chop your veggies- cut up the broccoli into pretty small pieces and shred your carrots (or buy it already done)

Next, mix a block of cream cheese, 1/4 cup of Mayo, 1/4 cup of sour cream and almost an entire packet of a Ranch Dressing seasoning packet.

Once, the dough is cooled, then spoon and spread out the cream cheese mixture all over the rectangle.

Then, cut your rectangle into 4 pieces and cut about 5 triangles from each strip.

Finally, sprinkle carrots onto the triangles and add broccoli at the top!

Put it in the fridge before your serve and it will taste even better!

I had extras…my husband ate them all 🙂

  • 1 package crescent roll seamless dough sheet
  • 6 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 package 4 teaspoons Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
  • 1 1/2 cup carrot shredded
  • 1 1/2 cup broccoli chopped

ACM New Vocalists Of The Year And Their Live Reactions

Both Lauren Alaina and Brett Young got a random call from this year’s ACM award show host Reba McEntire. Neither of them had a clue who it was or why until Reba introduced herself and congratulated them for winning New Vocalist Female/Male of the Year. Tears flowed and jaws dropped! Like every post, I’ve got to start with a pun. This is the best thing that has happened to me in my “McEntire” life. Now that that’s out of the way… oh my gosh. I won an ACM. AND Reba McEntire called to tell me. I am so thankful and appreciative to everyone who voted for me and made this happen. I’m so thankful to be given the chance to make music with people I love and sing it to more people I love. Country music is my heart, and today my country-loving heart is exploding. Sliced Ketchup is Now a Thing!

Sliced Ketchup….hmm….

I’m not sure if this product is necessary, but here you go:  You can now buy SLICED KETCHUP.  No more squirting ketchup onto your burgers like a caveman . . . now you can just drop on a clean, neat slice, like it’s cheese.

A company out of L.A. created the stuff and they just put it up on Kickstarter.  It ain’t cheap . . . a pack of eight slices of ketchup will cost you $10.

But if you’re interested, you can order it now, and they’re going to ship in June.  There’s no word on if or when it might wind up in stores.
