🎉📝 Get Ready for the 28th Annual History Bee! 📝🎉
It’s time to celebrate young scholars and put their history knowledge to the test at the 28th Annual History Bee on May 29, 2025, at the Hood College Athletic Center in Frederick! 🏅
This fun and competitive event challenges third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom in a day filled with excitement and educational fun! 📚💡
💥 Highlights of the Event:
• 20 schools and over 130 students competing this year – the most since before the pandemic! 🏫
• A first qualifying round with students facing off in exciting questions from the FCPS elementary curriculum
• A final single-elimination round featuring the top 12 students going head-to-head for the ultimate win! 🎯
Emcee: Geordie Wilson, Frederick News-Post publisher, will be guiding the competition! 🎤
We encourage all schools to be part of this hands-on learning experience that fosters a love of history and challenges young minds to think critically! 🤓
