Frederick, Md (KM) Citizens have an opportunity to help shape Frederick County’s fiscal year 2027 budget. County Executive Jessica Fitzwater is holding five budget town hall meetings in January; one in each of the five councilmanic districts in the county.
The town halls will be held on Saturday, January 10th at 1:00 PM at the Libertytown Fire Station (District 5)
Monday, January 12th at 7:00 PM at Whittier Elementary School (District 3)
Wednesday, January 21st at 7:00 PM at Brunswick Elementary School (District 1)
Monday, January 26th at 7:00 PM at Governor Thomas Johnson High School (District 4)
Thursday, January 29th at 7:00 PM at Deer Crossing Elementary School (District 2)
“Your input is critical in ensuring that our budget reflects the priorities and needs of our community,” says County Executive Fitzwater, in a statement. “These upcoming meetings are an opportunity to share your ideas and help shape next year’s budget.”
No RSVP is needed to attend, and residents can come to any or all of the town halls even if they are not located in the districts where they live.
The meetings will recorded and played back on the Frederick County Government Channel.
