Rockville, Md (KM) A man charged with the fatal shooting of his wife in Fairland last week is now in custody. Montgomery County Police say Edwin Javier Aragon, 58, turned himself in on Saturday, November 8th..
He is charged with 1st-degree murder and use of a handgun in the commission of a felony Aragon is currently being held without bond.
Police say on Thursday, November 6th at 5:41PM, officers and fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to the 3000 block of Memory Lane for a shooting. They found Sarahi Aragon Cruz suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite lifesaving efforts by EMT’s, Aragon Cruz was pronounced dead at the the scene.
Her husband left the area after the shooting, police say..
