Two Pennsylvania Troopers Hospitalized After Franklin County Shooting

Incident began with retail theft, ended in a deadly shootout on Interstate 81.

Franklin County, PA (JK) – Two Pennsylvania State Troopers are in critical and serious condition after a shooting in Franklin County left a suspect dead.

State Police say the incident started around 6 p.m. Wednesday when officers responded to a retail theft at Dick’s Sporting Goods on Lincoln Way East in Guilford Township. The suspects fled the scene, leading police on a pursuit along Interstate 81 southbound.
