2025 Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Frederick, MD

Sunday, October 12, 2025
Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Every step we take brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

This family-friendly event brings together people of all ages to honor those we’ve lost, celebrate those living with Alzheimer’s, and support the caregivers and families who walk beside them.

  • Check-In: 11:00 a.m.
  • Opening Ceremony & Promise Garden: 12:00 p.m.
  • Walk Begins: 12:20 p.m.

🎙️ The legend Tom Whalen from the Free Country Wake Up Crew will be broadcasting LIVE from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., thanks to our Frederick at Smock Heating & Air.

Participants will experience the powerful Promise Garden Ceremony, where colorful flowers represent personal connections to the disease, followed by a community walk through Frederick. The day also features opportunities to learn about local resources, connect with fellow supporters, and stand united in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
