Show us how well you know your Country music & it could win you THOUSANDS in cash with “The Albaugh & Son Free Country Mega Mix”!
Each weekday in the 7am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm hours, WFRE will play “The Albaugh & Son Free Country Mega Mix”, a string of five short audio clips of songs, one from each of the five decades of Country music WFRE plays (1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s).
Contesting will begin on-air on Monday, November 13, 2023, and will take place weekdays through Friday, December 8, 2023, for a total of four weeks.
With each play, caller nine on the studio contest line (301-695-9373) will make his or her best guess as to what each song clip is by giving us each song’s title & artist in the order that they appeared in the clip. We won’t say which songs, if any, he or she got right…just how many.
The first person to correctly provide all five song titles & their respective artists, in the order that they appeared in the Mega Mix, will win $5,000! However, if no one correctly provides all five song titles & artists, in the correct order, by the end of the four-week contesting period, every single contestant who made an on-air attempt to solve the Mega Mix will go into a second-chance drawing where one person will win $999!
Either way, someone is guaranteed to win a lot of money thanks to “The Albaugh & Son Free Country Mega Mix” and 99.9 WFRE!
