We have done snap chat filters in the past to help celebrate concerts and the Great Frederick Fair. People seemed to enjoy them and we liked making them. Harmless fun.
Meanwhile, in Ohio, a well-meaning Mom with technology beyond her control bought a snap chat filter for her daughter. It was for her 17th birthday. It was geo-tagged to her school. That means that every snap chat using teenager saw it.
Did you just blush or face palm?
I love this story. It had to have been a great learning experience for all involved. It is the 2017 version of sky writing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” above your kid’s school.
How would you react?
