Dianah Gibson is a longtime Frederick radio staple and one-half of the legendary Free Country Wake Up Crew. After more than 20 years in morning drive, she now hosts @ Work with Dianah Gibson, weekdays from 10am–3pm on 99.9 WFRE, presented by Mick’s Plumbing & Heating.

Dianah’s broadcasting career began in Frederick as a news anchor at the former Z104, a station she still considers family. She later worked in television and radio in Virginia Beach and Baltimore before returning to Frederick 12 years ago as WFMD’s morning news anchor. She went on to become News Director and continues to serve as News Director for both WFRE and WFMD.

During the workday, Dianah keeps listeners company with great music, familiar fun, and fan-favorite features like 90s At Noon, celebrating the golden era of country music. Off the air, she enjoys time with her husband Jeff, a retired sheriff’s deputy, and their two grown children, Lexi and Danny.
