After more than 20 years as part of the Free Country Wake Up Crew, she is stepping back into the midday role while continuing to serve as News Director for WFRE and WFMD. Her broadcasting career began in Frederick as a news anchor at the now-defunct Z104, a station she has often described as feeling like family.
She later spent time in both television and radio in Virginia Beach and Baltimore, working as a traffic reporter before returning to Frederick 12 years ago as WFMD’s morning news anchor. She went on to become News Director three years later, reuniting with several former Z104 colleagues along the way.
While deeply passionate about her work, she values family just as much. She and her husband Jeff, a retired sheriff’s deputy, are proud parents of two grown children — Lexi, a teacher in West Virginia, and Danny, who is finishing his college career in Morgantown.
