Reese Witherspoon announced that she’s teaming up with Apple to produce their first music competition series called, “My Kind of Country” in efforts of finding “extraordinary country music talent.”

She claims that country music has been a big part of her life growing up in Nashville and loves the history of songwriting and every effort it takes to create music from start to finish. She believes in the potential country music has of story telling and representing the true expression of what it means to be human.
Her goal is to discover trail blazing musicians who are “revolutionizing country music” and to help share the joy of it all.
