After spending the last few months mostly inside, students from a school in Glendale, Arizona, got to meet their new teachers with a fun, drive-thru event.
The kids wore masks and could stay in their cars and wave or get out and greet their teachers while safely social distancing.
Everybody was excited about finally getting to meet people and see new faces. It also provided an opportunity to pick up school supplies and other things needs to start the school year.
What a great idea to help students get excited for school! Although it will be virtual learning for many students for awhile I’m sure this will help connect students with their teachers.
