2 Teens Arrested For Armed Robbery In Frederick

Frederick, Md. (DG) – Two Frederick teenagers are facing adult charges following an armed robbery investigation that began last year.

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says the robbery happened September 27, 2025, in the 5500 block of Foxhall Court. Investigators determined a handgun was used, and the victim was assaulted, suffering a blow to the face with the weapon. Detectives identified two suspects and later obtained arrest warrants.

On January 6th, deputies arrested 17-year-olds Albert Cambara and Gerardo Cervantes, both of Frederick, and transported them to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. During searches of their homes on Wild Fig Court and Manor Court, detectives recovered a Glock handgun loaded with an extended magazine.

Both suspects are charged as adults with armed robbery, first and second degree assault, and other related offenses. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office.
