Glitter IPhone Case Recalled For Causing Burns

According to MixBin Electronics there have been 24 reports of skin irritation or chemical burns. The company sold the cases designed for iPhone 6, 6s and 7 through Amazon, Henri Bendel, Nordstrom Rack, Tory Burch, Victoria’s Secret and GetMixBin.com.

MixBin announced the recall after the burn-like reports. Nineteen of the reports came from the United States, according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.
MixBin said in a statement, if the case cracks or breaks, the liquid can leak out and come into contact with people’s skin. One buyer reported scarring from a chemical burn, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission. Another consumer reported chemical burns and swelling to her leg, face, neck, chest, upper body and hands, the commission said.
