Washington County Emergency Workers Rescue Individual From Silo

They responded to a mutual aid call from Franklin County, Pa.

Hagerstown, Md (KM) Fire and rescue personnel from Washington County, Maryland were dispatched to Franklin County, Pennsylvania Friday morning for a confined space rescue.

The mutual  aid  call went out at around 10:50 AM to 14781 Williamsport Pike where an individual was stuck in grain silo surrounded by corn. Officials say the victim was trapped for four hours, but fire and rescue personnel were able to safely rescue that individual, and transport that person to an area hospital.
