{Good News} Teen Rescues Blind Chihuahua Stuck In Sewer Drain

Poor Peanut!!

Last week week, a blind 16-year-old Chihuahua named Peanut went missing in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. Randall Harris, Peanut’s owner, was distraught because the two had been together for so long.

Randall had the neighborhood looking for Peanut, but after three days of searching, there was still no trace of the his beloved dog.

But luckily, Anthony Malagrino was on his way home from high school and happened to be in the right place at the right time. Anthony heard a dog barking in a storm sewer. Sure enough — it was Peanut.

Anthony was able to get the scared dog out of the drain and return him to Randall, who was thrilled to see his friend again.

Peanut is now recuperating from the ordeal and is expected to be back to full strength very soon. (NJ.com)
