Last night on the three-hour finale of The Bachelorette, Rachel Lindsay picked Florida chiropractor Bryan Abasolo. They’re happily engaged. He expressed his undying love to her. (quote) “You are everything I could ever want in a women: my wife, the mother of my children.”
Leading up to that romantic moment, the show seemed to spend a long time on the runner-up. Peter Kraus had messed with Rachel’s mind. Her heart belonged to Peter, but he warned, (quote) “I don’t feel like I’m ready to ask you to marry me tomorrow. I don’t want to stop being with you.”
This dramatic tension played throughout last night’s finale. Could she sway him? Would she take a chance without a ring? Or would she settle with Bryan?
Bryan increased his odds by basically promising to Rachel that they’d be engaged. All along, that’s what Rachel desired. She joined The Bachelorette to become the fiancée. (ABC News)
