I didn't see that coming.
This is the slide show that was meant to be played before our anniversary concert. Unfortunately, technical issues kept it from prime time, but you can still check it out here.
Thanks to everyone who help give WFRE another amazing year!
Science has created a Jellyfish based ice cream that glows when you lick it. It costs over $200 per scoop looks like the stuff of nightmares.
The photo is from our sister site WFMD and here is the full scoop:
"A British company has unveiled this new glow in the dark ice cream - said to be the first of its kind in the world. The fluorescent treat was created using synthesised jellyfish luminescence. It reacts with the eater's tongue's neutral pH - lighting up when it is licked to emit an eerie green glow. It is the brainchild of award-winning ice cream entrepreneur Charlie Harry Francis. Charlie, the founder of experimental ice cream company Lick Me I'm Delicious, said: "It's probably the most expensive ice cream I've ever made; jellyfish luminescence is four times more expensive than gold. "It tastes pretty good though and I don't seem to be glowing anywhere." He says each scoop costs around $225(Picture by: Splash/Lick Me I'm Delicious)"
