Let's face it, I'm snarky. I was born snarky. I come from a long line of snarky women. It isn't personal, it's just me. I can find humor in just about anything, because life is definitely funny -- especially during the full moon (no, seriously, you should hear the phone calls that come in around the full moon)!

Here's some more stuff you are probably DYING to know about me:

1. I can almost never fall asleep before midnight.

2. Believe it or not, I'm actually pretty shy. (Yes, really!)

3. My favorite food is almost anything with cheese on it.

4. My least favorite foods are beets and pickles. Especially pickles. I don't even want them on the same plate as my food, getting their pickle-ness all over everything.

5. When I was little, I thought musicians were lined up at the radio station I listened to, waiting to play their songs. I once called my local station and asked to talk to Rick Dees.

6. I also thought TV was "real", and that there were probably hidden cameras in my house and someone was watching us on TV like I watched the Brady Bunch.

7. I like Abba. Don't judge me.

8. I once met Stephen King. I couldn't speak. I stood there with my mouth open until he said, "WHAT???" So far, he has not written about me.

9. My mother is best friends with the mother of the first boy I kissed. They didn't even know each other back then.

10. I am terrified of bees. If a bee is in the same car as me, I will let the bee have the car.

I Am Blown Away.

As I type this, Team S.N.A.R.K.Y. is the second highest fundraising team for the St Jude Marathon in Nashville on April 28th. If you're a part of Team S.N.A.R.K.Y., whether as a donor or a participant in the half marathon, I can only say THANK YOU. You're doing an amazing thing and you're a part of something so much bigger than any one of us.

Today, my friend Jenee buried her 8-year-old daughter, Sophie. So your donations today mean more than you can possibly know.

You can still be a part of Team SNARKY. If you can commit to raising at least $1,400 as a "silver" level St Jude Hero, you'll get a lot of cool stuff and you can walk the half marathon with me and the rest of the team. If you want to be a "gold" level St Jude Hero, and commit to raising $2,900, you get all the cool stuff plus St Jude will pay for your hotel room for two nights for the race. If you raise $4,000 before March 30th, you're eligible for free airfare. And if you are one of the first 100 people to raise $5,000, you get to go to brunch at John Rich's house.
