Eddie Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry notes that the duo's new single, "I'll Keep the Kids," isn't a line-for-line rendering of his divorce proceedings. But it was cathartic to get some of his feelings out. Eddie wrote the song with his songwriting buddies Ira Dean and Phil O'Donnell, and the lyrics reflect a husband and wife discussing the details of their impending divorce. Eddie's wife Tracy filed for divorce in December of 2010 but the process is still ongoing. "Hopefully, we're getting close," Eddie tells Country Weekly.
