For years a friend had been telling me that she occasionally rinses her hair with "Apple Cider Vinegar". Yes, I said "Apple Cider Vinegar". Lol.
Summertime is always hard on my hair, with pool chemicals, whipping in the wind when my Jeep top is down and sometimes shampoos can strip your hair of their natural oils. The acidity of apple cider vinegar counteracts that process and actually balances your hair's natural pH levels.
I bought the good stuff...An organic brand of raw apple cider vinegar.
Apple Cider Vinegar Hair Rinse
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 cup water
Directions: I shampoo'd then used a spray bottle to spritz the mixture onto my hair. Let it stay on for a few moments and you can massage it into your scalp as well. After you rinse...there's no need to condition either. The apple cider vinegar will act as a natural detangler too. It removed all the yucky residue and product build-up and left my hair super shiny and super soft. And don't worry you won't smell like apple cider vinegar if you rinse well!!! (Smile) Here's an "AFTER" shot....and yes, I'm scheduled to visit Danny Knight next week.....I'm in need of a trim!!!!!! Lol.
